Alvord 31, Millsap 7

MILLSAP — Alvord jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first 10 minutes and Millsap never could catch up, giving it a game effort over the final three quarters before utlimately suffering a 31-7 defeat at the hands of the visitors.

Millsap picked up its lone score of the game to close the first quarter, After Mitchell Coker recovered an Alvord fumble at the Bulldog 34, the hosts used a pair of Dylan Burton runs to set up Jordan Richardson's scoring run around the left side. Coker tacked on the extra point to cut the deficit to 21-7.

Alvord would add a third quarter touchdown run and tack and add a field goal with 7:05 to go to end the scoring.

Mill sap will hit the road for the first time next week traveling to Dublin Friday. For further details, see Sunday's Weatherford Democrat.
