Former Brock student-athlete Levi Joy was named to the Southern Athletic Association All- Conference Team last week.
A member of the University of the South (Sewanee, Tenn.) tennis team, Joy was tagged with conference honors after earning 10 singles wins and 12 doubles wins during conference play.
The Sewanee Tigers posted a perfect 6-0, conference regular season record and entered the conference tournament as the top seed.
In the tournament, the Tigers defeated Hendrix College, Centre College, and Rhodes College in the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals respectively, to claim the championship.
Joy, a senior and four-time letterman, earned all-conference honors three times and was named to the conference all-tournament singles team in 2010.
Levi was named the Tigers’ Most Valuable Player in 2010 and awarded the team’s Tiger award in 2011, 2012, and 2013.
The Tiger award is given to the player demonstrating the best leadership, work ethic and performance.
Joy graduated cum laude with double majors, in computer science and economics.
