Brock seventh-grade Eagles improve to 4-0 with two

Staff Report

Eagles top Kennedale

The 7th-grade Brock Eagles kept their win streak alive last week, defeating Kennedale 30-0. The Eagle defense has held opponents scoreless for 12-straight quarters.

The defense forced 5 turnovers, with the highlight being Tony Travis bursting through Wildcats line, forcing a fumble and then recovering the loose ball.

The offense rolled, and lit up the scoreboard early and often. Touchdowns were scored by Patino, Lightfoot, and Hardison.

The Brock Eagles deployed ball-control offense to grind out a 26-6 win over the Godley Wildcats, Tuesday at Eagle Field. The stingy Eagle defense held Godley without a first down for most of the first half, jumping out to a 20-0 lead before allowing a Godley score late in the game. Scoring touchdowns on the night for the Eagles were Trent Patino, Alex Beamer, Jackson Hardison, and Skyler Colllier.  Hardison also punched in a 2-pt. conversion.
