Williams builds round-robin slate to replace Cowtown Classic cancellation

Staff Report

Williams received sufficient commitments to put together a four-team round robin, which will be played at WC’s Stuart field on Saturday. The first game is slated for a 9 a.m. start.

‘Hounds shoot for 3-way tie, Millsap earns playoff slot

Staff Report

Peaster can create a potential 3-way tie for the District 9-2A boys championship on Friday if they beat Ponder. A Greyhounds win would give Ponder, Peaster and Brock two losses each with a game to play.

Millsap, at 6-5 in district play, has locked up the fourth seed, giving all three Parker County teams a berth in the state playoff brackets.
