Summer athletic camps — June/July

— Staff Report

July camp information has been added to the roster of athletic offereings for Parker County. Interested parties should not that many of the camps offer pre-registration advantages to make the camps more cost effective for parents.

Camp directors urge the early registration so sufficient resources (i.e., instructors) are on hand to provide as much personal instruction as possible.

The camp schedules at the various schools  during the 2013 summer have been nicely staggered, offering some second chances for kids who may missed earlier camps due to family vacations or other pursuits. Additionally, some of the ISDs are offering multiple camps in the same sport.

WISD CommEd, who’s first volleyball camp concluded last week, is offering a seond volleyball camp beginning in late July.

Editor’s note to coaches/ISDs: If you have camps not included herein and are not listed on your school’s website, and would like to have listed weekly, send information to sports@weatherforddemocrat.com.
