    When asked what appealed to her most about the opportunity to compete at a high level, given all of the prospects of getting to travel to other athletic venues, meet other kids who have worked toward the same goals and/or walk away with medals draped around her neck, Mach I TC member Sadie Tharp’s answer was brief — and to the point.

    “I just love the running,” Tharp said.
