Peaster girls take Italy tourney


The Peaster varsity girls basketball team took the top prize recently at the Italy Basketball Tournament. 

Led by head coach Denise Yankie, the Lady Hounds have a busy week ahead, traveling to Bridgeport on Tuesday to take on the Sissies and winding up pre-district tourney play at the Glen Rose Tournament, Thursday through Friday. 

Peaster will begin their District 9-2A slate the following week, playing at Ponder on Friday, Dec. 13.
