Area track & field athletes run for district gold this week
Starters’ guns will be blazing in the coming week, as all of the Parker County prep schools will step into the blocks (metaphorically and literally) for district track & field competition. The Runnin’ Roos begin their prelims on Tuesday and wind up Wednesday, with District 3-5A competition held at Arlington’s Sam Houston High School.

Weatherford senior Hunter Dennis earned a second-placed overall finish in the District 3-5A Golf Tournament held at Fort Worth’s Woodhaven Country Club on April 7 & 8.
