    In a scoreless tie in the bottom of the ninth on Friday in Arlington, Weatherford was forced to play the odds by loading the bases with an intentional walk after a free pass and a double put both Martin runners in scoring position and first open.

  • 0330 Tns BHS Folse-Davis mixed doubles Brock wins girls, boys championships

    BROCK — The District 9-2A tennis tournament was held at the courts of Brock High School on Tuesday and Wednesday, which included the three Parker County Class 2A schools. In varsity action,  Brock won team titles in the boys and girls divisions.

  • 0330 FB AHS Buck - 4A CoY by NFF Aledo football coaches reaping (more) postseason accolades

    With Aledo’s fifth championship trophy securely and proudly exhibited in an increasingly crowded trophy case, and championship rings soon to be distributed, recognition for the Bearcats goes on. All-District, All-Region, All-Parker County and All-State awards have also been assigned for players and coaches alike, but there are impending honors soon to be made official.
