BROCK — The District 9-2A tennis tournament was held at the courts of Brock High School on Tuesday and Wednesday, which included the three Parker County Class 2A schools. In varsity action, Brock won team titles in the boys and girls divisions.
Aledo football coaches reaping (more) postseason accolades
With Aledo’s fifth championship trophy securely and proudly exhibited in an increasingly crowded trophy case, and championship rings soon to be distributed, recognition for the Bearcats goes on. All-District, All-Region, All-Parker County and All-State awards have also been assigned for players and coaches alike, but there are impending honors soon to be made official.
Local scholar-athletes named All-State
Peaster’s Rachel Smith (left) and Brock’s Taylor Fulmer were named Academic All-State by the Texas Girls Coaches Association, joining Aledo’s Breann Forbes and Megan Wood.
