Keys to a good fundraiser

Local piano students to play for diners, donations

The Weatherford Music Teachers Association this week will present piano students from Parker, Palo Pinto and Tarrant counties in the annual Pianothon! hosted by Antonio’s Restaurant.

The restaurant is located on Santa Fe Drive in Weatherford (Interstate 20 at exit 409).

Students ranging from ages 6 through adult will perform Thursday through Saturday for restaurant patrons in an effort to raise funds for local student programming, including scholarships, competitions, festivals and other educational events and performances.

The public is encouraged to support these talented local musicians by attending the event and leaving generous “tips” in jars designated for that purpose located in the restaurant.
