Workforce Solutions for North Central Texas collects over $1,000 for the American Cancer Society

Workforce Solutions for North Central Texas raised $1,210 for the American Cancer Society.

Employees from 13 workforce centers throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area purchased “tickets” to wear jeans during the week of April 8-12.

“This unique drive gave our employees a great opportunity to donate to an extremely worthy organization. I’m very proud of their donation,” said David Setzer, Executive Director of WSNCT.

Workforce Solutions for North Central Texas is continuously looking for ways to give back to its community. In August, staff held a canned food drive, with 1,000 pounds of food collected and donated to a local food pantry.
