WPD hands out officer, employee awards

The Weatherford Police Department held its annual awards banquet Friday.

There were a number of nominees and everyone should be proud of the work that the Weatherford Police Department has done this year in making the City of Weatherford a safer and better city in which to live, work and play.

The winners of the 2013 awards were:

• Overall Officer of the Year – Travis Bramow.

• Day Shift Officer of the Year – Don Feare.

• Night Shift Officer of the Year – Tom Seaton.

• Supervisor of the Year – Bobby Laine.

• Rookie of the Year – David Bravo.

• Investigator of the Year – Troy Luecke.

• Special Assignments Officer of the Year – Ronnie Corder.

• Civilian of the Year – Linda Authier.

• Administrator of the Year – Terri Brunz.

• Dispatcher of the Year – Traci Kellerman.

• Part Time/Reserve Officer of the Year – Gary Houghton.

• Volunteer of the Year – Bryan Ewell.
