WCS prepares for open enrollment period

Weatherford Christian School is quickly approaching open enrollment for the 2014-15 school year and new families will be able to enroll beginning Monday, March 3, at 8 a.m. But now is the time to schedule a family tour to see firsthand what the local nondenominational Christian school has to offer.

WCS realizes that everyone has busy schedules so they emphasize that, “Everyday is Open House at WCS” and will always make time to give families a personalized tour of their facilities at both the elementary and secondary campuses. The local private Christian school serves pre-K 3 through 12th grade and offers outstanding academic and athletic programs. WCS also strives to express the importance of community service and have partnerships with more than 25 organizations locally and abroad in order to educate students on the importance of giving back.

WCS also believes in small class ratios in order to meet the student’s needs on a more personalized level and all K-12th grade teachers are certified. Class space is limited in certain grades, tuition assistance and multiple child discounts are available and tours can be scheduled by calling Enrollment Coordinator Tracy Garvin at 817-596-7807 or check out the school website at www.wcslions.org.
