Stolen trailer recovered, man arrested

SPRINGTOWN – Weatherford-Parker County Special Crimes Unit recovered a stolen travel trailer Wednesday afternoon.

An anonymous tip led SCU investigators to a residence in the 900 block of Lynch Bend Road in Springtown, where a travel trailer, reported stolen in Wise County, was located.

Investigators spoke with the homeowner, identified as James William Curtis Jr., 52, who told investigators although he recently began living in the travel trailer, he was keeping the trailer for a friend and his permanent residence was a single-wide trailer located next to the travel trailer.
