POLICE BLOTTER: Failure to signal turn leads to meth arrest

Following are some of the offenses, investigations and calls for service reported by Weatherford police for the period 6 a.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday:

Meth arrest

A woman’s alleged failure to use a turn signal led an officer stopping her vehicle and ultimately arresting her.

Police said a 1997 Pontiac driven by Loren Louis Henderson, 57, was stopped in the 1400 block of FM Road 51 North at 1:30 a.m. Thursday for the traffic violation

The officer said Henderson was found to be in possession of a less than 1 gram of methamphetamine and was arrested and jailed for possession of a controlled substance.

8:17 a.m., domestic disturbance, 1000 block of North Main Street.

9:01 a.m., assault, 100 block of Meadowview Drive.

9:19 a.m., domestic disturbance, 200 block of South Line Street.

12:32 p.m., aggravated assault with a deadly weapon complaint made at WPD station.

2:26 p.m. threats, 1800 block of South Main Street.

2:29 p.m., reckless driver, 2400 block of East Interstate 20.

3:09 p.m., fight, 200 block of West Couts Street.

3:50 p.m., forgery of a financial instrument, 2200 block of Lake Country Drive.

8 p.m., suspicious vehicle, Franklin Street.

8:29 p.m., hit-and-run wreck, 1800 block of South Main Street.

8:41 p.m., animal call, 1300 block of Mineral Wells Highway.

9:24 p.m., suspicious vehicle, 1900 block of Fort Worth Highway.

10:24 p.m., suspicious vehicle, 300 block of Love Street.

11:55 p.m., suspicious vehicle, 100 block of Cartwright Park Road.
