Man arrested again on child sexual assault charges

By CHRISTIN COYNE

A Weatherford man accused of sexually assaulting and molesting two young teenage girls in June and July was arrested and charged for the second time in a month.

Robert Soriano Jr., 22, faces two charges of sexual assault of a child and two charges of indecency with a child by sexual contact.

Some of the incidents occurred at a Weatherford middle school and after church events, according to court documents.

Soriano admitted to having sex with one girl and molesting another while knowing their ages, police said.

Soriano, who was arrested and released on $100,000 bond in July, was arrested Thursday on two additional charges relating to incidents prior to his first arrest.

Soriano remained jailed Tuesday with bond set at $100,000 on the new charges.
