Three more quakes shake county

3.6-rattler recorded Tuesday evening

Three more earthquakes rattled northwest Parker County Tuesday.

Within minutes of each other midday Tuesday, a 2.5-magnitude earthquake west of Reno was followed by a 2.8-magnitude quake south of Reno, according to U.S. Geological Survey.

Then at 6:40 p.m., a larger 3.6-magnitude earthquake 1.2 miles northwest of Azle was reported, with residents saying they felt the ground shake.

The three quakes bring the number of earthquakes in the area measuring at least a 2.5 magnitude to nine since Nov. 5.
