SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Burglary, thefts reported

Following are some of the offenses reported to Parker County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday.

Attempted burglary

On Tuesday at approximately 4:24 p.m. Parker County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 300 block of Pioneer Trail in reference to a burglary report. A woman said someone attempted to pry her front door open and attempted to pull an air-conditioning unit out of one of her windows.

Diesel theft

At 11:36 a.m. Tuesday deputies were dispatched to 20000 U.S. Hwy 180 in Aledo in response to a theft. There a man said sometime between 10 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday someone stole approximately 150 gallons of diesel fuel from his construction equipment. An offense report was taken for theft in an amount $500-$1,500.

Tools, firearms stolen

Deputies were dispatched to the 300 block of Belle Circle in Aledo in reference to a reported burglary. Two men said someone broke into a cargo trailer and a house under construction stealing many power tools and firearms.
