Brighter nights ahead for WC students, fans

College, boosters strive to improve facilities through new outdoor lighting, enlarged training center

“That probably doubled or tripled the training room space, and that benefits all the athletes,” said Hummel. “The locker rooms are a ‘feel good’ thing for the kids, but they know we did something for them.”

Eaton said the entire project falls under the umbrella of striving to make WC the best place it possibly can be whether it’s for a student or for someone visiting for the first time.

“We value everyone who comes onto our campus,” Eaton said. “And this is just another way to make sure they know they’re welcome.”
