Parker County Retired Teachers visit the past

Members were challenged to bring valentines to the February meeting to deliver to residents of health care centers in the county. They departed with 10 New Year’s resolutions for better health, provided by the Information, Healthy, and Protective Services Committee, chaired by Marie Welsh.

The next meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 4, at Central Christian Church’s Cuppett Hall begins with lunch at 11:30 a.m., followed by the program and business meeting.  Speaker Wally Wallace, of Wallace Insurance Agency, will give tips on saving money on home insurance. Lunch for $8 will include a barbecue sandwich, chips and peach cobbler catered by Baker’s Ribs.

To make a reservation and get more information, call Kathryn Jordan at (817) 594-5748.
