Candidates forum set for Feb. 6

The monthly meeting of the Parker County Republican Party for February is a candidates forum at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6, at the Parker County Courthouse on the square in Weatherford.

Candidates have been invited to participate in a forum, and the public is invited to attend. All Parker County citizens are invited, and no reservation is required. The audience will have the opportunity to participate by submitting questions to the panel for consideration. 

The primary is Tuesday, March 4, and voters will have the responsibility to vote for a Republican nominee for the general election ballot in November. Early voting is the two weeks prior to the primary starting Tuesday, Feb. 18.

The last day to register to vote and be eligible to participate in the primary election is Monday, Feb. 3. Voter registration applications can be obtained from the county voter registrar, many government offices and libraries, or downloaded from “Register to Vote” at http://votetexas.gov.

Applications must be postmarked or delivered to the county voter registrar by Feb. 3.

Come hear from the candidates, ask questions that are important to you, and invite your friends to come with you. Cup and Cake will be open following the forum for candidates to visit with citizens.
