Rodeo time!

Some of professional rodeo’s top cowboys, cowgirls set to compete


PRCA’s current fifth-ranked bull rider J.W. Harris, from Mullin, will be vying for the top money prize this week in that competition.

Reserve world champion barrel racer Carlee Pierce, of Stephenville, will be competing.

Also among the ladies competing in barrel racing this week will be 2006 world champion Mary Burger, of Pauls Valley, Okla.

Cody Ohl, a six-time world champion and 2001 all-around world champion from Hico, will compete. Ohl currently ranks 24th in the tie-down roping division.
