Easter egg hunt times, locations

Following is information provided to the WD on four local Easter egg hunts and celebrations planned for Friday and Saturday:

Pizza and eggs

There is a free Easter egg hunt Friday at Holland Lake Park, 1419 Holland Lake Drive, in Weatherford.

There will be free Papa John’s pizza and prizes.

Ages 1-2 hunt at 11 a.m., followed by ages 3-5 at 11:45 a.m. Ages 6-9 go at 12:15 p.m. and ages 10-12 at 12:45 p.m.

American Legion

American Legion Post 163 Easter egg hunt begins at 10 a.m. Saturday at the post. Call 817-594-4101 after 5 p.m. for more info.

Eggstravaganza

Eggstravaganza is 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday for toddlers through fifth grade at Grace First Presbyterian Church, 606 Mockingbird Lane, Weatherford. Call 817-594-2744 for more information.

Westwood hunt

Westwood Christian Fellowship, 1010 S. Bowie Drive in Weatherford, is hosting a community Easter egg hunt from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. There will be free games, inflatable play areas, prizes, hot dogs and drinks.
