POLICE BLOTTER: Back porch intrusion

Back porch intrusion

Weatherford police investigated a report Tuesday in the 100 block of Wheeler Street where a subject entered a locked, screened-in back porch by cutting the screen. Damage to the screen and back door was placed at $700. Nothing was reported missing and the home was not entered. The incident reportedly occurred between 4 p.m. Jan. 23 and 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Aluminum thefts

The theft of aluminum was reported Tuesday afternoon in the 200 block of Harcourt Street. The theft reportedly occurred between noon on Monday and 1 p.m. Tuesday.

The theft of about $200 worth of scrap aluminum wheels and car parts was reported Monday afternoon at a business near the 200 block of Industrial Street.

Cash theft

A woman in the 200 block of Mockingbird Lane on Tuesday reported the theft of $170, occurring between 2 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday.

Window damaged

A woman in the 900 block of Charles Street reported a glass window, valued at $400, was damaged by someone using a pellet gun. The incident between 4 p.m. and 4:10 p.m. Tuesday.

He was hallucinating

Police Tuesday night were called to the 100 block of East Interstate 20 where Isaac Flores, 52, of Weatherford, claimed someone was trying to kill him, according to a report. Flores admitted to hallucinating due to drug use, the officer reported. Flores was taken into custody for making a false report and booked into Parker County Jail. He was released Wednesday afternoon after posting $2,500 bond, according to jail records.

DWI arrest

Weatherford police responded to a possibly intoxicated driver report at 10:47 a.m. Monday in the 1200 block of Fort Worth Highway, stopping a westbound maroon 1999 Ford F-150 in the 100 block of Austin Ave. The driver, Ramon Gomez, 45, of Weatherford, reportedly told the officer he had consumed several beers the previous night and another during the morning. After a field sobriety test, Gomez was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated, second offense, and booked into Parker County Jail, where he was released Tuesday after posting $2,000 bond, according to jail records.
