• An individual on Monday told police that sometime Saturday night someone took two 5-gallon cans of gas from the back of his pickup while it was parked in the 400 block of Live Oak Lane.
An officer reported stopping the driver of a 1999 Ford pickup around 2:37 a.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of Santa Fe Drive after the vehicle failed to make a proper stop at a traffic light. The officer said Josephine Mendoza, 48, arrived at the scene to take custody of the Ford pickup’s driver.
A check of records revealed that Mendoza held an active warrant for interference with child custody out of Grayson County. The warrant was confirmed and Mendoza was placed under arrest and booked into Parker County Jail.
On Monday a deputy responded to Elam Court in Springtown where a 29-year-old woman said someone she knew forced his way into her residence and assaulted her. The woman had an injury to her left outer eye/temple area but refused medical treatment.
Deputies were dispatched at 3:35 p.m. Monday to the 10000 block of FM Road 1886 in White Settlement where the complainant said sometime between 1 a.m. Jan. 9 and 9:30 a.m. Monday someone entered his property and removed two trailers.
A resident in the 200 block of Kickapoo Trail early Monday afternoon reported that someone stole several power tools and hand tools from his storage building.
Deputies around 9:50 a.m. Monday responded to the 400 block of Midway Drive in Springtown to investigate a building burglary report. It was reported someone entered a storage shed and took numerous items valued at $5,300 while causing $75 worth of damage.
Domestic call arrest
At 7:55 a.m. Monday deputies were called to a residence in the 200 block of Joyce Street concerning a reported domestic disturbance. There, Michael Andrew Tokar, 43, was arrested for interference with an emergency telephone call.
