POLICE BLOTTER: Woman says $4,000 in electronics charged to credit card

A woman told Weatherford police this week that someone obtained personal identifying information about her and fraudulently purchased $4,000 worth of electronics on her credit card.

Burglary, theft

On Tuesday a Parker County sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the 4500 block of Midway Road where a man said a known suspect broke into his house and stole paperwork. The man also stated a $2,500 Ford pickup was taken from his property along with $720 worth of miscellaneous tools.


At approximately 1:16 p.m. Tuesday, PCSO deputies were dispatched to the 1100 block of East Sixth Street, Springtown, where a woman stated her front door was open and property stolen from her house. Among the items reported taken were two firearms and a gold ring.


On Tuesday at approximately 8:30 a.m., PCSO deputies were dispatched to the 300 block of Frank Plumlee Lane where a woman stated her gate was forced open and contents removed.
