PET OF THE WEEK: Overlooked Labrador hoping for new home

Meet Hydro. She is a 1-year-old Lab.

She is fun to be around, good on a leash, friendly, doesn’t bark at other dogs, knows the command “sit,” doesn’t jump on you and she makes eye contact. She seems easily trainable.

She is such a sweet girl and would make a great addition to any family and would be ever so grateful. She has been overlooked for a month. She deserves to find her very own forever home like the other dogs at the Weatherford Parker County Animal Shelter.

If you are interested in Hydro or any of her shelter friends, they can be visited Tuesdays through Saturdays, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., with extended hours on Wednesdays and Fridays until 6 p.m. Or, visit the animal shelter’s website at www.weatherfordtx.gov/animal and see all of Hydro’s friends.

All adoptions are $40. All adoptions include their sterilization, vaccinations, microchip and all the love that they will bring to your family.
