VETERANS’ CORNER: Initiative hopes to provide better health-care access

(Continued)

Information from military.com invites all active duty and veterans to military career expos in October. Scheduled events are Oct. 1 in Midwest City, Okla., and Oct. 3, in Irving. Don’t miss the opportunity to meet with top companies looking to hire veterans. These companies include government contractors, national corporations and local companies. These expos are free to job seekers.

Go to military.com, link to the career expo site and register online. By registering in advance, a list of employers will be provided that will be available at the expo.

Speak to you again next week.

Jim Vines is commander of AmVets Post 133.
