A consent search of the vehicle was conducted and police said a usable amount of methamphetamine weighing less than 1 gram was found, as well as drug paraphernalia. No arrest of the woman was reported.

Concerning the assault, Parker County sheriff’s deputies early Wednesday morning were dispatched to the intersection of Grant Drive and East Bankhead Highway.

Officers met with the woman who said her estranged husband, William Kevin Hutton, 42, pushed her in the chest. Hutton was arrested for assault causing bodily injury, a class A misdemeanor.
