PET OF THE WEEK: Aussie-mix Jannett is playful, energetic and ready to go

Jannett is a beautiful chocolate Aussie mix and is this week’s Weatherford Parker County Animal Shelter’s Pet of the Week.

She loves playing in the yard and going for long walks. She would be a great hiking partner or Frisbee girl because she is young and loves exercise. She is good with other dogs and ignores the kittens. She likes kids, too.

She is spayed and vaccinated and can pack a bag in a hurry. If you are interested in Jannett or any of her friends, they can be visited at the Weatherford Parker County Animal Shelter Tuesdays-Saturdays, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., with extended hours on Wednesdays and Fridays until 6 p.m., or, visit the shelter’s website at www.weatherfordtx.gov.

For the month of November the shelter is running a special with all adoptions just $40 that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip and all the love they will bring your family.

For those who can’t adopt but would still like to help, Weatherford Parker County Animal Shelter always appreciates donations of cat litter, dog food, cat food, trash bags, cleaning supplies and monetary donations.
