PET OF THE WEEK: Bella is ready for a new home

Meet Bella, She is a lab/hound mix. She is a sweet girl and would make a great addition to any family. She appears to already be house trained.

The poor girl has been overlooked for a month. She deserves to find her very own forever home like the other dogs. She needs a little extra attention as she has an old hip injury.

If you might be interested in Bella or any of her other friends, they can be visited at the Weatherford-Parker County Animal Shelter Tuesday – Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., with extended hours on Wednesday and Friday until 6 p.m., or visit the shelter’s website and see all of Bella friends at www.weatherfordtx.gov/animal.

All adoptions for May are $40. Veterans can adopt this month for $25 as a thanks for their service. All adoptions include their sterilization, vaccinations, microchip and all the love that they will bring to your family.

For those who can’t adopt but would still like to help, Weatherford Parker County Animal Shelter always appreciates donations of cat litter, dog food, cat food, trash bags, cleaning supplies, and as well as monetary donations.
