Retriever among pets seeking adoption

Meet Lilly. She is a flat-coated retriever. She is very friendly and will sit for treats! Lilly is very happy pooch and playful and loves affection. She has been at the shelter for over a month and is looking for her very own forever home.

If you might be interested in Lilly or any of her other friends, they can be visited at the Weatherford Parker County Animal Shelter Tuesdays–Saturdays, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., with extended hours on Wednesdays and Fridays until 6 p.m., or visit the animal shelter’s website and see all of Lilly’s friends at www.weatherfordtx.gov/animal.

For the rest of March, adoptions will be on special for $40 through the end of the month. This covers their sterilization, vaccinations, microchip, and all the free love that they will bring to your family.

For those who can’t adopt but would still like to help, Weatherford Parker County Animal Shelter always appreciates donations of cat litter, dog food, cat food, trash bags, cleaning supplies, and as well as monetary donations.
