Spring Fling Event and Fashion Show April 23

The Parker County Extension Education Association invites everyone to the Spring Fling Educational Event and Fashion Show set for Tuesday, April 23, and celebrate a southern spring event.

Spring Fling will take place 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Couts Memorial United Methodist Church, located in Weatherford at 802 N. Elm St..

Nancy Robinson Masters, author and motivational speaker, from Abilene, will be the featured guest speaker. Her topic will be “Extra Ordinary Women.” Nancy is a pilot, an educator and motivator. Get ready to laugh, cry and have an enjoyable time.

Spring Fling will also include presentations by Jon Green, county extension agent, who will speak on “Water Wise Practices.” Rev. Georgia Orr will speak on “Facing Your Giants.” Ken Mullins will demonstrate how to make unique bird feeders.

There will be a fashion show by Kaleidoscope in Weatherford. Lunch will include chicken and spaghetti, spinach salad, almond green beans, desserts and iced tea. There will be a raffle table, silent auction, door prizes and much more.

The cost to attend is $15 per person. This will include lunch, program material and recipes.

Tickets are available from Parker County Extension Education members and the Parker County Extension Office. You may call to reserve your ticket. Onsite registration will also be available.
