Man charged with home invasion

(Continued)

Two passengers also identified Malone as the driver and told DPS that Malone was driving recklessly, passing aggressively, speeding over 100 mph and forcing vehicles to move to avoid collision.

The two said they were afraid for their lives and begging him to stop, according to DPS.

A trooper reported finding a backpack inside containing suspected marijuana, several small baggies and an electronic scale that one passenger said belonged to Malone, saying she had watched him pack it earlier in the day.

Malone remained in the Parker County Jail Monday on the charges, as well as prior warrants for driving while license invalid and leaving the scene of an accident.
