Cities, neighborhoods ready for a Night Out

Crime prevention at the neighborhood block level the goal of National Night Out

• North of I-20 - intersection of Gray Wolf and Red Eagle.

• Parker Oaks area - Austen Street.

• Diamond Oaks area- Intersection of Lakeshore and Diamond Oaks.

Public safety and administrative staff from the city will be at all three locations to meet with residents and answer any questions they have about city services.  The city will provide food and drinks for participants at each location.

The Hudson Oaks Police Department will have officers visiting each location to showcase departmental vehicles and equipment and make presentations about valuable crime prevention techniques.

Aledo event

In Aledo, the Aledo ISD police and a number of law enforcement entities are hosting an event from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bearcat Stadium. The fun includes free food, entertainment and prizes.

Other agencies participating include Aledo Volunteer Fire Department, Parker County Sheriff’s Office, LifeCare, Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, Federal Bureau of Investigation and Willow Park Police Department.
