JFK: I remember that day …

Weatherford Democrat

— If you are over 50 years of age, chances are you remember where you were and what you were doing when you first heard President John. F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas on Nov. 23, 1963.

Fifty years later, we would like to hear from you about that day. Where were you? What were you doing? How did you first hear the news? What was your immediate reaction and thoughts?

Please share it with us on our Weatherford Democrat Facebook page, include it as an online comment with this story at weatherforddemocrat.com, send it by email to editor@weatherfordddemocrat.com or write it down and bring it by or mail it to our office at 512 Palo Pinto St. Weatherford TX 76086.

We would like to have them by this Friday, and thanks in advance for sharing your memories on the 50th anniversary of this tragic but historic time in American and world history.
