POLICE BLOTTER: One arrest clears up 13 warrants

Following are some of the offenses, investigations and calls for service reported by the Weatherford Police Department for the period 6 a.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday:

13 warrants

Investigation into a hit-and run  wreck that occurred at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the 1600 block of Holland Lake Drive, police identified Joshua Michael Moreno, 22, who was arrested on seven Parker County Sheriff’s Office warrants and six City of Weatherford warrants. Moreno, who listed a Fort Worth address, was transported to the Parker County Jail. Moreno’s warrants dealt with various traffic and driving violations, along with a violation of a promise to appear.

Building break in

A window was broken and access made to an automotive repair business in the 200 block of Banks Drive. The burglary was reported at 10 a.m. Monday. A person at the business said a key to a 2007 Ford Mustang was missing, and the car was gone.

12:57 p.m., minor wreck, 200 block of Adams Drive.

1:45 p.m., disturbance, 900 block of Vine Street.

2:43 p.m., threats, 900 block of  Vine Street.

2:50 p.m., scam/fraud, 1500 block of South Main Street.

5:15 p.m., disturbance, 1400 block of Fort Worth Highway.

6:25 p.m., minor wreck, 400 block of South Main Street.

7:05 p.m., suspicious person, 200 block of Cherry Street.

9:02 p.m., intoxicated driver, 2000 block of Fort Worth Highway.

Tuesday

12:37 a.m., suspicious person, 1100 block of South Lamar Street.

12:54 a.m., suspicious vehicle,

1500 block of Mineral Wells Highway.

4:02 a.m., suspicious person, 1900 block of Martine Drive.

4:10 a.m. suspicious person, possession of controlled substance, 100 block of East Interstate 20.
