SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Home, vehicle burglaries reported over past week

Following are some of the criminal offenses reported to and investigated by the Parker County Sheriff’s Department this past week:

Burglary on Upper Denton

On Thursday at approximately 4:10 p.m. deputies were called to the 5500 block of Upper Denton

Road in reference to a burglary investigation. There the resident stated that someone entered his residence and stole an air-conitioning unit, water heater, electrical box, meter and wire, at a combined loss of $6,300, making it a second-degree felony case.

Finney Drive burglary

At 8:52 a.m. Thursday, deputies were dispatched to the 1400 block of Finney Drive in reference to a burglary report. Deputies met with the complainant who stated a known suspect entered her

residence and stole toilets, doors, knobs, flooring and tile. Items taken were valued at approximately $2,830, making it a second-degree felony burglary.

Vehicle theft in Aledo

On Thursday at 6:47 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of Rancho Vista Court, in Aledo, regarding a reported theft of a vehicle. Deputies met with the owner of the pickup who said sometime between 11 p.m. Wednesday and 5:45 a.m. Thursday someone stole his 2011 Ford F-250 pickup. The truck was valued at more than $20,000.

Vehicle burglary on Harmony Road

Deputies Monday night responded to the 1200 block of Lynn Street in reference to a reported burglary of a vehicle investigation that occurred in the 200 block of Harmony Road. The complainant stated a speaker was stolen from his vehicle that afternoon.

Jearl Street theft

About 10 a.m. Monday deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of Jearl Street, in Aledo, in reference to a reported theft. There a man reported someone entered the bed of his truck and removed a blue Yamaha generator, valued at approximately $1,100, and a black Craftsman toolbox with miscellaneous tools, valued at approximately $200.
