Roos sweep top UIL ratings again

The Weatherford Fightin’ Roo Marching Band on Saturday earned straight Division I ratings for the seventh consecutive year at UIL Region Marching Contest.

The band performed its 2013 marching show, “Judgment and Redemption,” Saturday at Burleson Stadium in Burleson and received unanimous Division I marks from all three judges.

The band was led on to the field by drum majors Jaque Reyes, Christopher Walker and Aidan Beimer. The drum captain is Ariel Gonzalez and the color guard captain is Caitlyn Cook.

The band has one final marching competition this Saturday at the Duncanville Marching Invitational. The group will take the field at 10:15 a.m.
