Weatherford police say they are investigating the death of a man found at Cartwright Park Saturday morning as a possible suicide.

A police officer conducting a routine security check at the park around 7:30 a.m. reportedly found the body of 44-year-old Thomas Bohannon, of Weatherford, in the 100 block of Cartwright Park Road at the intersection of Peaster Highway, according to officials.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner had not ruled on a cause and manner of death as of Tuesday afternoon.
