Coalition to host smoke-free business seminar Tuesday

The Long Live Parker County Coalition, set up by Texas Health Resources, will host a smoke-free business seminar at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, in the Weatherford Public Library at 1014 Charles St.

The seminar is open to all business owners and managers in Parker and Hood counties who do not have a formal smoking policy. It will feature a brief presentation on the health and financial benefits of going smoke-free, a Q&A and a discussion about how the Transforming Texas grant may be able to help with the transition.

The seminar will also include guest speakers, games and prizes, snacks and a free toolkit.

To RSVP contact Casey Williams at 817-371-1271 or online at CaseyWilliams@TexasHealth.org
