Man arrested in stabbing


A Parker County man was arrested Monday shortly after a man who had been stabbed showed up at a local hospital.

James Dee Terry, 38, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

A 39-year-old man showed up at the hospital Monday for treatment of a stab wound in the center of his chest anda cut to his left arm, according to the Parker County Sheriff’s Office.

The injured man told deputies Terry stabbed and cut him while he was at Terry’s residence in the 100 block of Izella Lane.

When deputies responded to the address, Terry admitted to stabbing the victim, according to a probable cause affidavit.

Terry remained in the Parker County Jail as of Tuesday evening with bond set at $25,000.

Officials were unable to say if the injury was life-threatening or provide a reason for the attack.
