Balke honored for academic achievement

The United States Achievement Academy recently announced that Brandon Balke, of Weatherford, was recognized for academic achievement as a United States National Honor Student award winner.

The Weatherford High School student will appear in the United States Achievement Academy’s  official yearbook, which is published nationally.

“Recognizing and supporting our youth is more important than ever before in America’s history,” said George Stevens, United States Achievement Academy founder. “ Certainly, United States Achievement Academy winners should be congratulated and appreciated for the dedication to excellence and achievement.”

The USAA National Honor Student Awards provide honor students with many benefits and services and is a great tribute to a student’s dedication, talent and ability.

Brandon is the son of Wayland and Jennifer Balke, of Weatherford. His grandparents are Mark and Melinda Balke, of Henrietta, and Wendell and Marilyn Hardeman, of Fayetteville, Ark.
