Q&A: Aledo City Council Place 2 candidates

(Continued)

As a program manager I have had the opportunity to develop a unique set of skills to organize, define critical tasks, set milestones and work with others to complete projects. I have attended city council meetings and kept abreast of city issues. I have filed as a candidate for city council with a commitment to work diligently in the best interest of the city. I know I can get things done!

Q. What steps should be taken to make Aledo the best it can be?

A. Actively work to bring the right kind of business to Aledo. Advertise Aledo as the perfect place for companies (e.g., retail, restaurants) seeking to locate, grow or expand.

Encourage citizens to get involved in community activities. We are fortunate to have many highly educated and skilled citizens in the city of Aledo. These citizens are capable of making signification contributions to the advancement of our city.

I will recruit talented citizens to participate in standing committees or otherwise become involved in city activities.
