MILLSAP MATTERS: Millsap boys hoops return to playoffs after long absence

(Continued)

Congratulations to the congregation of Millsap Methodist Church on being approved for a historical marker. A ceremony and celebration of this award are in the works.

Pastor Bill Hudson, of Midpoint Chapel, and his church family will be joining the congregation of Well of Life Church in Mineral Wells on Feb. 16 at 6:30 p.m. for a special service. Pastor Hudson will bring a message about what the ministry of pastors entails. May the churches be blessed for all of the edifying endeavors that they are participating in.

Millsap VFD cautions everyone that weather conditions may be unsafe for outdoor burning. We can check the Smokey the Bear sign on the Millsap City Hall grounds to see the daily burning danger rating.  The Parker County Fire Marshall can proclaim a burn ban on a daily basis, so call the PCFM office at 817-598-0969 before starting any outdoor burning. Please do not take any risks, let’s be safe.

Those who planned and put on the benefit for Sandy Barnes Lee thank everyone who donated food and other items, plus everyone who came out and ate. If you did not get to donate, there is an account set up for Sandy at First Financial Bank in Mineral Wells. We wish Sandy a speedy recovery!

May you and yours have a Happy Valentine’s Day as we remember: “And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.” (I Corinthians 13:13)
