Let's get physical

Brown added physical therapy isn’t just for pain management, it can also aid the elderly who have lost their balance and assist them in living independently.

“We do an assessment and will do what is needed for a patient to get better and will tailor our treatment to the individual problem,” Blackburn said. “We find many of our clients are very comfortable after the first visit.”

For individuals who are unable to get to the facility, Connelly said home health therapy is contracted out for those who need it. Weatherford Physical Therapy is open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday with Active Physical Therapy of Aledo open 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
