— Due to this week's rainfall, Parker County Judge Mark Riley has lifted the burn ban that has been in place for Parker County.
Riley earlier this month put a temporary seven-day burn ban in effect following a number of fires that began on and in the days following the Fourth of July. County commissioners on Friday made it a 45-day ban on outdoor burning. However that is no longer in effect.
As always, those who do take part in outdoor burning should take appropriate precautions and report their burn to the Parker County Fire Marshal’s Office at 817-598-0969.
