Reported suicide victim found lying near U.S. 180

PARKER COUNTY — PARKER COUNTY – Emergency responders and the Parker County Sheriff’s Office responded around 3 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a shooting, with the victim lying in the roadway on Newberry Road at the intersection of U.S. Highway 180, between Weatherford and Mineral Wells.

Sheriff Larry Fowler said the incident is believed to have been a suicide and did not provide additional details.
