Public invited to give Heritage Park input

The public is invited to attend and give input to city staff in a meeting Thursday concerning the next phase of Heritage Park renovations.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at Heritage Park, known to many as First Monday Grounds.

The meeting is hosted by the City of Weatherford and Dunaway and Associates.

Those attending will hear about several new features to be included in the development including a dog park, outdoor amphitheater, a heritage plaza, exercise stations and more.

Not only can you help shape the park’s future development, attending Thursday’s meeting will also give you the chance to win one of several prizes including two tickets (said to be “great” tickets) and a parking pass to a Texas Rangers game; two free season passes to Cherry Park Pool; four free passes and a picnic lunch at Chandor Gardens, and more.
