Pet of the Week: Annie needs a new home

Annie is this week’s Pet of the Week, available for adoption through the Weatherford Parker County Animal Shelter.

Annie is an Australian cattle dog and collie mix. She is very friendly with her own unique style! She does well on a leash and really enjoys being brushed. Annie is still looking for her Valentine, who will love her forever. She has been at the shelter for over a month and is looking for her very own forever home.

If you might be interested in Annie or any of her other friends, they can be visited at the Weatherford Parker County Animal Shelter Tuesdays-Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., with extended hours on Wednesday and Friday until 6 p.m., or visit the animal shelter’s website and see all of Annie friends at www.weatherfordtx.gov/animal.

WPCAS is extending January’s New Year, New Friend’s special. That makes all dogs and cats only $40 through the end of the month. This covers their sterilization, vaccinations, microchip, and all the free love that they will bring to your family.

For those who can’t adopt but would still like to help, Weatherford Parker County Animal Shelter always appreciates donations of cat litter, dog food, cat food, trash bags, cleaning supplies, and as well as monetary donations.
